I have an old (pre Microsoft) launcher in my Minecraft and now when I try to log in I get the reply that it doesn't know where the server is.
I have tried downloading and installing both applicable variants from the new Minecraft page but nothing works. The generic minecraft laucher will not run as the system doesn't know what to make of it. I tried the command ./minecraft-laucher I got this:
Code:
./minecraft-launcher
./minecraft-launcher: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-3.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.
Fixed that by getting gtk+3 from PPM.Tried again and got
Code:
./minecraft-launcher
./minecraft-launcher: /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `CXXABI_1.3.8' not found (required by ./minecraft-launcher)
./minecraft-launcher: /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `CXXABI_1.3.11' not found (required by ./minecraft-launcher)
./minecraft-launcher: /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.22' not found (required by ./minecraft-launcher)
./minecraft-launcher: /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.20' not found (required by ./minecraft-launcher)
./minecraft-launcher: /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.21' not found (required by ./minecraft-launcher)
./minecraft-launcher: /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `CXXABI_1.3.9' not found (required by ./minecraft-launcher)
I have had no luck with the DEB file either. It just said Failed to Install
