Disable Trackpad on Dell Latitude d620

I am fairly new to linux and have just installed puppy linux on my old Dell latitude d620. I am having trouble with a mouse that seems to move and click on its own... when i was using Ubuntu i was able to open the terminal and using the xinput command disable the trackpad which fixed the problem.

https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=126377

I cannot seem to find a "terminal" in the puppy linux. The problem is so bad that i cannot use the computer and any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

Run FlSynclient in console (should be installed I would think already?) if running Slack0. Just a guess. I sold my netbooks with Slack0 on them.
So I really \can't remember how Slack0 handles tap.

I see you cannot even find terminal? Try run box from the menu then.

Use this to search also.
