Compress .html and all associated files

I have tried both of these, but they don't work right.

Using Thunar.

I want to select an .html file and the files in another directory which belong to it and have them all compressed in a zip file.

Code:
zip test.zip %N

zip test.zip %F %D

You might need to explain what you want to accomplish in a little more detail.
What does %N, %F and %D supposed to represent? How many files etc are you needing to zip?

zip test.zip file1.html /dir1/file2 /dir/file2

%f the path to the 1st selected file
%F the paths to all selected files
%d directory containing the file that is passed in %f
&D Directories containing the files that are passed in %F
%n the first selected filename (without path)
%N the selected filenames (without paths)

Did you create a custom action?

This works.
Code:
zip -r test.zip %F
I also installed Packit which is a fine program.

I was impressed that it asked if I wanted a shortcut on my desktop.
That's rare with Linux programs.
