xgoogle

I recently downloaded xgoogle and installed it via :

Code:
git clone https://github.com/prudek/xgoogle
python setup.py install
./examples/example1.py
When I ran the first example, it did'nt return any results, not did it return any failure code ($?).

Any ideas if the module is broken/out of date, due to the last commit being several years ago, and Google chaging something ?

Is there something better which I can use ? Either an upto date library with lots of examples, or a pre-wrote script / opensource tool, surely must exist that runs on Linux that performs a search with safe=off..
