Microsoft Visual Studio. Closest linux alternative is Kate. If it isn't present, then I"ll use whatever is available - jedit, kwrite, vim, mcedit.

Yeah, vim is presented on every linux I have ever seen, rather than emacs. But, vim on debian stream os, really differ from those on redhat stream, the default mode of debian, I don't know what it exactly is, is really difficult to use. Every time I have to enter a command to go to the original mode before using it.
