what are the techniques to debug applications built with hiphop?

Hi!

I'm trying to test one application we have developed by compiling it with hiphop. I see absolutely no output coming from the (web) application when I call the main script.... I have added a few print messages into the script to see where the script is going but I see nothing.....

So, if I use error_log, where will the messages end up? and even more, what are the techniques to see what's going on inside of the hphp-gererated program?

Thanks in advance.
