Lightbulb username/password

Hi,
I am so confused.
I am working on a distribution based on FEDORA CORE2.Here i need to design my own themes.
When a user require to enter into the system, the username window appears and after entering the username and pressing enter we will be prompted for the password window.
What i need to do is, The want the user name and password both in the same window.

The rpm regarding this is gdm.If this is not the rpm used, please suggest me which rpm is used.
Currently i am going through the code.:study
But its not relating in any way.

design of themes is done using qt programming (GUI).If i desin a theme in qt, how would i relate this qt file so that my qt file becomes the theme .

And one more thing! I am learning qt. If any one who is a master in qt, please suggest me some good knocks.

Hope someone has a quite possible answer for this.

Bye
Sailu

mind your spam

my suggestion: try lightening the load--
1) learning how to put together your own distro
2) learning how to create your own theme
3) studying gdm
4) learning qt

-- that's a lot for one thread!
