User Creation Script

Dear Allz,

My mail Serve ris running on RHEL4.

I add user from the following command:

useradd -s /sbin/nologin -d /export/home/userid userid

/export/home is partition name where user home's are presents.

Now set the password from the following command:

passwd userid.

My default passwd is 'cyber'.

Now i want a script that add user automatically after asking userid & set passowrd 'cyber' automatically too.

Did you try searching LQ for terms like "useradd script"?

set passowrd 'cyber' automatically too
...and thanks for letting us know your standard passowrd.
IMNSHO scripting a std passowrd is a bad decision.
