The problem with the time difference...plzplz help

I used rtlinux and using the rtlprintf command i got the time after each loop in a while(1) loop
they come out to be same...i.e. the timedifference is exactly same.

but when i send the same data to c in linux and print via printf command, this data isn't what i expect...the difference in this data is not same.

Since I am sending the data as a constant via FIFO it should be same.. but its not....

Am Baffled please help...

It is important that they be same as i have to get this data to QT and print the timestamp which is important for functioning of my program.

Can you post some code? I don't really know what you're talking about.
