Question Starting javascript


first i made a post to day in the wrong forum, so i wish a mod. would do errr.. whatever he likes with that thread

now as mentioned in that post i am looking for a program that i can use to write javascripts and it would auto complete what am writing

after a day of searching i have downloaded kdevelop; and i would like to know what is the difference between it and kate {K advanced text editor} and is there is an auto complete feature in kdevelop in first place

and i have also downloaded qooxdoo-0.6 and i did not find a clue how to use it or even how to start to use it

any help would be totally welcomed

ps:last line of code i wrote maybe 6years ago in visual Basic 6.0
