Source code for ld.so?

Where do you find the official source code for the ld.so (a.k.a., ld-linux.so) library used in Linux? Seem to be having a little trouble finding it with Google, or at least the most recent version.

I download the binutils source code package from

http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/binutils/binutils-2.20.tar.gz

and compiled everything in it... but all I can find is the 'ld' program, not the 'ld.so' library. The page you linked me to also only lists the tool, not the library.

Ooops, my bad I didn't read closely enough. The library is provided by Glibc --> http://www.gnu.org/software/libc or Eglibc --> http://www.eglibc.org/home depending on what tickles your distro's fancy. Sorry again.
