simple gcc question

I wrote a simple c program and compiled it
from the shell prompt.
(it just runs a simple math caculation, and ends by
answering yes or no, to run it again or to quit)

it runs fine, but I always have to
open a terminal to run the program.

is there a easyer way to run it in kde.
I would like to just navigate to it and just
mouse click to start it.

new to programming

Hi -

1. Here's a short FAQ on how to create shortcuts do other stuff
with your KDE desktop:

http://kde.sw.com.sg/documentation/en/UserGuide-6.html

2. You might also wish to experiment with re-writing your math
program to use a GUI (instead of standard "printf()" and
"scanf()" from the commend line).

Since you're already using C, then GTK+ might be a good choice:

http://bo.majewski.name/bluear/gnu/GTK/plain/index.htm

3. Perhaps you might instead wish to use a completely different
language, other than C (or C++ or Java, all of which can have
a considerable learning curve).

In that case, may I recommend trying Python/wxPython:
