Shared memory size limit?


I can only allocate a max of about 40Mb shared memory, i'm using slackware 9, I have 1Gb in the machine. Is there a need to recompile the kernel and if so what parameter(s) do I need to change?

Type ipcs -m -l to see what the limit is. Type ipcs -h for more help.
