Hello-
I'm hopelessly confused with the GTK+ bindings for ruby.
I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 and installed the newest versions of ruby and ruby-gnome2 through apt-get today.
However, when I try and run a Ruby GTK program(normal Ruby programs work fine), I always get:
Code:
helloWorld.rb:1:in `require': no such file to load -- gtk (LoadError)
from helloWorld.rb:1
I utterly suck at configuring ANYTHING from source, so if possible please point to .DEBs.
Seriously. I've never actually successfully built any software(even my own) using the *shudder* 'make' and 'make install' stuff, even if I do exactly as the readme says. The most discouraging thing for me under linux is those dreaded tar packages.
Well anyways, if someone could tell me why my Ruby's not working it would be great.
Thanks,
