Rewrting vncpasswd in perl

Hi,

I am having problems looking to rewrite the existing vncpasswd program in perl. I tried using various built in DES library but to no avail. My generated key is still different from the one vncpasswd generated.

Any idea how i can go about doing this?

Thanks
aaron
