Thank you all! The problem is solved now.

@rtmistler I am doing this for my research. I just need to do this in order to submit a job for the programme GROMACS.

@HMW - I am not too sure what you mean. Because I tried to do it with multiple sed, but it cannot differentiate **** and ** *=spacing. Hence if I use multiple of it, it will have the same effect on all spacing.

Sorry all, I did not noticed the first post didn't include the spacing I want.
