QT Hello world linker problem
G'day all,
I'm just trying to start QT programming and tried to qmake the hello world code as per the tutorial instructions.
I googled this error it but all references seemed to be to something called pango conflicting with FreeType. I've updated FreeType & Freetype2. I'm assuming it's probably something to do with the library path, would that be right?
I get the following linker error:
g++ -c -pipe -Wall -W -O2 -DQT_NO_DEBUG -DQT_SHARED -DQT_TABLET_SUPPORT -I/usr/lib/qt3/mkspecs/default -I. -I. -I/usr/lib/qt3/include -o hello.o hello.cpp
g++ -o HelloQT hello.o -L/usr/lib/qt3/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lqt -lXext -lX11 -lm
/usr/lib/qt3/lib/libqt.so: undefined reference to `FT_Seek_Stream'
/usr/lib/qt3/lib/libqt.so: undefined reference to `FT_Get_Short'
/usr/lib/qt3/lib/libqt.so: undefined reference to `FT_Forget_Frame'
/usr/lib/qt3/lib/libqt.so: undefined reference to `FT_Access_Frame'
/usr/lib/qt3/lib/libqt.so: undefined reference to `FT_Get_Long'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [HelloQT] Error 1
make: Target `first' not remade because of errors.
Any help is appreciated
Rich.
