Qt Creator 4.2.1 Compile w/Multi Core on GCC

Good Afternoon Community,

I come from Code::Blocks and C/C++. I am using QT 5.8. I am new to the QT Creator IDE.

In essence, where do I plugin the essence of "make -j8" into QT Creator?

I can't find Google searching, and nothing appears self-explanatory in the QT Creator GUI.

Google searching shows how to do this for a mingw setup, but I am not compiling for Windows. I am compiling for Linux. My QT package is using the default GCC compilers.

How do I tell QT Creator to use multiple cores when compiling?

I would appreciate a link to a how to, or an explanation.

Thank You!

Sincerely and respectfully,

Dave

To set per project:
Projects (left pane) -> Build -> on the line that says "Make:" click details and enter -j8 beside Make arguments

Found the following that purports to it set globally but it didn't work on my box:
