Question Program


"want to write a program in such a way that it should print a pid and process information using modules..?"
can anybody help me about this am not getting about this...?

what language, what modules, pid of what?

hi pixellany:

sir its something like home work only:
using c and data structures we have to implement:
using ps command we can list a processes ,among those processes we have to give a 1 pid and sholud print its task...!!


hint:we have some structures like task_struct and task_pid something like this....and these can be found in kernel source code i.e in /kernel/pid.c you can browse

i think you got an idea now......!!!

Looks like someone told you something to do...and you understood something..and vomiting that out..

On what basis you want to list a process and what exact information you want from it?
