Problems with libhid in c

Hello to all.
I want to manage a hid device using libhid.
I tried to use an example (http://tipok.org.ua/downloads/hardware/griffin/rocket.c) to understand how it works, but when I try to open the device with hid_force_open function I get the error HID_RET_FAIL_CLAIM_IFACE, but I don't say what this error means.

I have look on the web for a guide for libhid, but I didn't find nothing.

Can someone help me?

Hi -

As I'm sure you probably guessed, "HID_RET_FAIL_CLAIM_IFACE" roughly means:

HID return status: failed to claim interface

I believe the problem is a USB-level problem.
