problem in using qthreads (Qt)

Hi,
i am using two threads in my program. one does some console job and other displays a window(GUI). But the second one is not displaying the window properly...Proper window appears only when the first thread completes it job...But I have to execute the first thread infinitely..Then how can i make my window appear?

First, this is a general answer for threads. Qthreads may have some builtin functions for exactly this. Check for this.

That said, this is usually done by creating a common variable. Have the GUI thread waiting for that variable; the working thread sets that variable when the data is ready to be displayed. Once the variable changes, the GUI can assume the data is ready to display.
