perl not printing %d data

Good Day,

I am reading from MsExcel sheet and printing it.

Execl sheet

name no. no. home-dir
somename 1000 1000 /home/somename

When I print name it prints it properly, When I print home-dir It prints it.

But when I print no. it prints word "GENERAL"

I am just sing normal

print " ";

function.

Thanks

Problem solved.

I looked at cell formatting(on Excel sheet) it was set type GENERAL, I changed it to "-1234"
type I guess "signed int" now it shows actual no.

Thanks
