opensource NURBS Library for linux and C++

Hi,

I am working on Ubuntu and use VirtualBox to run Rhino(http://www.rhino3d.com/index.htm), also use blender. But there are no CAD/NURBS programs in Linux world, so I decided to make one.
I started to learn C++/OpenGL and read Math books. I know that programming NURBS program is very difficult.
Could you give me some advices how to start developing my program, what books to read?
Maybe you know a good NURBS opensource library that I can use ? Something like this http://www.smlib.com/index.html ?

I want to use already made library because Rhino(NURBS) core was developed by many PhD Mathematicians. But I am not mathematican, i'm an architect.

Hi -

It sounds like you're interested in NURBs for computer graphics (vs, say, math theory). This link might help:

http://www.opennurbs.org/

One great book is "Numerical Recipes in C/C++":

http://www.nr.com/

You can also Google for algorithms snippets for different specific contexts. For example:
