on x86-64 no function follow_hugetlb_page?

When I read the code in mm/memory.c of the kernel 2.6.6. In the function get_user_pages, follow_hugetlb_page is called to get the page from virtual address. But follow_hugetlb_page is defined only on i386, sparc64, ppc64, ia64, on x86-64 I haven't seen the implementation of it.
Then on x86-64 which follow_hugetlb_page to use in the funtions get_user_pages, use the follow_hugetlb_page in include/linux? But that seems to do nothing at all, would you please give me some directions?
