Nothing to build from project error


HI friends,
I have eclipse & have updated CDT , but when i create a C++ project HelloWorld with 1 source file & a program which just displays hello world , i get the following message in the console :- Nothing to build from project HelloWorld .
I m not able 2 figure out the problem can any body help me out with a solution
As i m a new in linux i wil be grateful 4 the help.
Thanks.

Probably need to run automake/autoconf, then run configure.
