newbie to start driver development


Hi I want to know where to beging with I want to start Device driver development.Any good link or book.

By the way, just as a hint (not meant insulting), but sometimes you would get faster responses when using a internet search engine and just type what you're searching for. I just typed 'linux device drivers' in google and got the link above

I have seen that link and had searched on Internet also I asked here if some one could suggest some thing which is better.

Well---that's the standard reference......What don't you like about it?

It may be best to first read it, and then chase down any specific details that are not clear.

I am not very good at understanding I found a book
