Netbeans and storing images (etc)

Hi,

I know I had this issue the first time I used netbeans many years ago, but i'm struggling to find out where to put my images.

I've put them in the 'src' directory, 'src/resources/' (added as a package), and also in the project directory, e.g. 'src/orientedtest', rebuilt it, there in the jar, but...

*** Yes i've added the 'resources' to the strings in both sets of places (init / main).

Here's the source demo...

http://www.java2s.com/Code/Java/3D/OrientedTest.htm

I just keep on getting the runtime exception
Code:
com.sun.j3d.utils.image.ImageException: javax.imageio.IIOException: Can't get input stream from URL!
Where do I put 'em, or what is the proper procedure to add them?

Many thanks!
