(N/PD)Curses; Can I Make A 'Fake' Window?

Well, making another program (Der) and I would like to make a fake window, be able to use wmove and such with it (no effects being shown on screen), and be able to swap it with a window currently on stdscr like a Lego (the window it's being swapped with is the same size).
Is there a simple (<50 lines of code, preferablely less that 20 pointers, and no inline assembly ) way to do this?
