Memory Technology Device related question


Hi All

If in my kernel if MTD (Memory Technology Device) is disabled can we access flash (NOR & NAND flash) .Is there any possibility our application can write into flash memory

Is it an mtd-based flash? If so, then not without writing your own access mechanism.
