linux question

hi guys,
can anybody tell me what file does the finger program store its information (such as full name, phone number, etc) in?

i would greatly appreciate for any help

Can't you come up with a more descriptive subject then "linux question" - how many posts do you think there are to this forum that AREN'T linux questions?

I think you will find most of that information in /etc/passwd

Give her a break! It's not everyday that a member of the fair sex asks a Linux question.

It's nice to see that you're interested in Linux. We need more women like you in the Linux community, then maybe some GNU tools would have decent user interfaces.
