Question KDevelop questions...

Hi ppl,
I've been using eclipse for some time but I'm now bored of it because it is a bit slow. Now I'm giving a chance to KDevelop. As far as I know there are two ways of creating a project: handled by tons of configure scripts and so on, or not handled at all (you write your own makefiles). My question is: is there any way let it manage my makefiles but without all those scripts that fulls your project with files? Can I tell it to create a simple and plain makefile and just that like Eclipse and Mingw Studio do?

Thanx a lot.
Cya!

That's one thing I found frustrating as well, the project gets filled with a *ton* of random files...
