I know java compiler doesn't came with suse 10. I had download SDK 1.4.2 and JRE and i had installed both.... The problem is that i still can't compile with java....i have this problem:
crapodino@linux:~> java
bash: java: command not found
crapodino@linux:~> javac
bash: javac: command not found
If i go to Yast and i search "java" or SDK i can see that there are both of them...but they are as with a ...as if it can't be changed
Does any one nkews what can i do ?? please i really need to compile with java and i don't know what to do...
If also tried downloading java with YaST as it says in SuSE web but i have a error, because of this y download them from sun web
This is probably going to sound stupid, apologies if so, but why waste time downloading java compilers, when as well as gcj, SuSE 10 comes with the java sun jdk 1.4 and 1.5
