Java problem $$$

Hi to all. I visit this site many times for programming information. Okay, here's my problem: I'm taking a JAVA course and my instructor posted a assignment on "multithreaded programming" for extra credit. The problem is the final for this class is Friday (same day the assignment is due) and there is no way I'll have time to do this problem and study but I REALLY do need the extra credit points. Is there anyone out there familiar with the idea of multithreaded programming and can write the code for this problem? If so, I'll write you a check for $10.....I know it's not much but I don't have much and I'm a little desperate!
Here's the assignment:

Write a program to create frames with counters. When the program starts, a single frame appears, with two buttons:
one that creates a new frame with a counter that indicates the number of seconds elapsed since the frame was created. And one that exits the program

Also, add text fields (with labels) to the main frame to control the appearance of the created counter frame. Include at least the following parameters:

-the x position the new frame

-the y position of the new frame

-the delay between updating the numbers

-the font size of the count number

All or part of this code would be appreciated

On assignments and prayer meetings

Come on ....

I'm doing an MSc in computing and I have assignments too. If you work as a programmer in the future, you won't have the luxury of leaving it to the last minute.

Maybe you won't get an answer to this one. If you want to get chunks of code, download them from a google search on 'multithreaded java programming' and 'free'.

If that doesn't turn anything up, well maybe you might not get those credits but if you like programming and are willing to do a little background reading before you come here, maybe someone will have done what you're trying to do.

I have one I'd love to send to this forum;

How do I code a neural network simulation in Prolog to manage a credit-ratings database?

But I won't because it's unrealistic.

How do I declare an array of JRadioButton objects?

Is more manageable.

Hey, good luck though ...

XillusionsX, sadly(or happily depending on your disposition), Bert is right... u gotta at least attempt it in some way and then if you've got difficulty, post it up.

there is a site where people put up their homework to coders for sale though... if u really wanna go that route... (though i strongly discourage coz u don't learn anything)
www.RentaCoder.com

this forum might not be the right(or best) place to solicit these kinds of payments/transfer of monies.

again u could ask about specific difficulties, but entire assignments would be rather unreasonable here... (but not to websites dedicated to that purpose of course)

oh man.. 10 whole bucks.. i see real world java programmers making 30 to 60 dollars an hour.

I don't think this is the proper place to offer people money for your own assignments. You might want to try the link gui10 gave in his post if you feel the need to have someone else do your extra credit work.

naughty naughty

but another thing is... what abut jeremy? i'm sure setting up any website for any purposes involves agreeing on the purpose of the website with the service provider. there're probably some consequences about deviating from that path...

of course, if he doesn't mind, i'm sure u can do your 'evil' part... ho ho ho! (not as if it doesn't happen anyways)
