is fork using sys_clone ???

Hi,

I'm writing simple tracing application using ptrace system call. While working on that, I noticed one thing. I wrote a simple dummy program that forks a child and I use it as my monitored process. When I fork the returned system call is sys_clone... I'd expect to see sys_fork rather that sys_clone if I called fork(). Can anybody explain it to me?

The solution is very simple… sys_fork() does not exist (yet).
