What is the error that you get? Do you have Java Virtual Machine installed?

Hi and thanks for your reply
Well, i dont get any error. The fact is that i cant view the applet in my browser.
Here are all of my Javas:
java java_vm javadoc javap
java-rmi.cgi javac javah javaws
Do i need anything else?I have installed the latest jdk.

I think you need to install the plugin for the browser. Or else you can use the appletviewer from X.

He means X Windows, I suppose, the graphical environment in Linux. I assume you meant latest sdk, not jdk (jdk is only the runtime not development files) since you have javac. You should also have a program called appletviewer that installs with the sdk, try running it like this:
Code:
 appletviewer appletpage.html
