html code and including html files

Is there any way I can include a html file into a static web page? or do I have to use php or jsp technology to be able to do this?

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. Do you want to display the content of an html page inside another page? In that case you could use frames.

You could also use "m4" as part of a bash script to change the included file, or server side includes (SSI) if your web server supports it, with <!--#include FILE="foobar.inc" --> for example.

Cheers,
