How to make a GUI for a Script

I want to make a gui for configuring Onebase Linux. The configuration tools have allready been made, but are from the command line. What I want to do is have Windows batch style approach for the gui. I have only made batch files in Highschool, and have never programmed before.

try something like zenity in GNOME or kdialog in KDE

There are gtk wrappers for perl and python or there are simple dialog tools like xdialog.

Or there's tcl/tk. I would use perl, but python will do the job just as well. Depends what's your poison.

may be you could use dialog command for creating the gui.. you need
to do some shell programming for that.. but its' nice tool it provides menus
input boxes etc..
