how to access to the parallell port with C??


hello,
i wanna learn how to send bytes to the parallell port.i mean that in Turbo C++ there is a function: outport()
i wrote some other forums but the answer were in asm..
i need codes in C/C++..
is the solution ioctl.h ??
may u help me....
thanx.....

Try opening /dev/lp0 and writing a byte to it.
