uhhhhhh... come back with a specific problem, ace.

you can't expect us to just tell you how to design a complicated project. look for some php resources on http://www.phpbuilder.com, but you'll probably be more interested in javascript, since you'll need some sort of interactive scripting language, which php isn't.

this would belong in the programming forum as well. closing this thread and yes, this site is for specific problems, not a teach you or do your work for you site.

best way to get into the subject is look for existing php scripts then see how they work. Some are very easy others more komplex and use databases as backend. simply take a look around. if you have a mysql i recommend a script called webchat written by a guy from romania. you may get that from 'hotscripts.com' or other adresses, use a search engine.
