Hi i am a studnet i am dealing with a proj on PC Inventory System pls guide to deal with this porj as i dont hav a minimum idea on this project anybody pls guide me solving this by either directing me to any related tutorials for this topic or any worled out software on this topic so tht i can have a look at the software code and get an idea on thistiopic and try my own code to attain the set goal ( the previous project) or atleast anybody pls let me know how to start with such a projects i have a good skill in c,c++,Java,Oracle,PHP,COBOL and VB VC++ pls tell me how do i start with it or how do i deal with this project

Firstly work out the requirements of the system, independant of a solution or language implementation.
Then work out the specific ways in which things will interact with the system.
Then work out a model of the classes and flow of execution.
Then code and test each bit as you go.
