gcc help

Thanks to linuxquestions without which i maynot think of starting GCC.
however i need some more help ,to get in to it,please help me in clarifying this

1.How to increase the font size in emacs

2.I need to organise all my .out files , .c files at seperate places
i.e i need to send all .out files at one dir and .c at other dir during the compiling and running on terminal.

3.where to see all the headerfiles and associated functions with it

I would think emacs font size is handled by the terminal itself, so check the terminal properties (I presume you are running from within KDE or Gnome or something similar).
2 and 3 is usually in project settings, makefile etc. You can probably find some help on getting going on GCC home page: gcc.gnu.org

Maybe try some advanced GUI-based IDE for development. Anjuta would be a good choice, as it supports project management and has a lot of tools built-in. It mainly supports GTK/Gnome environments.
