Talking File handling in Pascal.

Hi guys,
Can anyone help me about file handling in pascal.
It's about file folder/directory,

1)Why "fsearch" can only be used for searching usual files(files with extension or else), but not file folder/ directory.
Is there any other COMMAND that I can use for searching a directory?

2)Can we make a program that was able to create a folder with the name we
"readln"?

3)Could u please give me the program that run a .bat file?
for example: there was a .bat file in my Drive C,(123.bat)and I wish to run it with the program I made.
Please post me the code for this program.

Thanx...

As the name implies, 'fsearch' is FILEsearch. The question is a bit unclear, though. Are you trying to find a directory, or search directories/sub-directories recursively?

Easily.

First, this sounds very much like homework. As a rule, we're always glad to help someone if they're stuck, but I doubt you're going to get people to do your homework for you, without showing that you've put some effort into it.

There is a "programming" forum here, that is a better place for programming questions. But I doubt anyone is going to give you code. Post what you've written, and where you're getting stuck, and we'll be glad to help.

Otherwise, there are many pascal tutorials on Google, like this one:
http://pascalprogramming.byethost15....ssonindex.html

that give examples, and explain everything you're trying to do.
