As the title says, I'm using Eclipse Helios on Slackware 64 (14.0) The issue I'm having started off as a nuisance and now has become a mission. Whenever I hover my mouse over various function titles, (circlefill from allegro) it brings up an examples or more of the declaration. I don't use them really often but the issue is the background color is black or VERY dark gray and I can hardly see the verbiage. If they are going to pop up I'd at least like to be able to read them

I've tried to check all appearance and preference areas but nothing allows me to change colors of the hover. I assume I'm using the correct terminology by saying hover.

If you use KDE, than try to change your color settings for tooltip background, possible tool tip text works also. tooltip background worked for me

Solved. Thanks was a KDE issue and not Eclipse. That explains I could only find hover font and not background.
