Eclipse doesn't start

Hello,

I'm running Red Hat 9 - Gnome. I've installed the Sun Java 2 SDK and Eclipse. I added the directory in which I installed the SDK to the path. I'm sure I did it the right way, because I tried to launch "javac" from another directory than the installation directory and it worked fine. But when I try to start Eclipse, I get the following error message:
-----
A Java Runtime Environment (JRE) or Java Development Kit (JDK)
must be available in order to run Eclipse. No Java virtual machine
was found after searching the following locations:
/home/koen/eclipse/jre/bin/java
'java' in your current PATH
-----

This is the value of my PATH (echo $PATH):
-----
/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/home/koen/bin:/home/koen/j2sdk1.4.2_01/bin:/home/koen/j2sdkee1.3.1/bin:/home/koen/apache-ant-1.5.4/bin
-----

Can someone please help me out? (I'm new to Linux)

Thanks a lot!!!

Koen.

I updated Red Hat via up2date (also the kernel) and now it seems to be working.

Greetz,

Koen.
