don't worry about that. It's a warning.
strange I don't get it on mine though;

if it worrys you change this
@ARGV = <$LOGDIR/*.log> or *ARGV = \*DATA;
to this

@ARGV = <$LOGDIR/*.log> ;

minute and a half, not bad.
