This is pathetic.

The assigment is so simple, it is a shame that the OP did not even try to read K&R and find these functions himself. If if he has not K&R available, if he'd googled for "string functions 'C programming'" he'd found a wealth of documentation.

The only thing you have to do is to glue together the functions in a program and that is it.

I think the rule of this forum not to do someone's homework is excellent. The OP now has not learned anything from basic C, and his next assigment will be an even bigger problem.

We are talking about C here the mother of all programming languages, not Modula2, Algol60, TCL or Easytrieve. It pays to learn C instead of begging for homework getting done by someone else.
