C/C++ Compile/Link options in Makefiles

Hello,

Does anybody know where can I find online documentation/tutorials for the use of the flags/options (e.g. g++ -c, -o, ...) in a Linux Makefile, while compiling and linking a c/c++ program?

I would like to find a list of all these options accompanied with a description of their usage.

Thanks in advance,
George
