I tried like what u have given in this thread...but i got the same error like kernel mismatch...

can u exaplain little bit briefly...

because iam a newbie...

If your module is just for testing

just try
insmod -f module.o
this will insert module forcibly. But module will be loaded . This can
be used for testing.

problem is that kernel source in your system and kernel you are using are of different version.
thats the problem. Use kernel for which you have source.
