binary comparison of files in C++

Hello,

I'd like to get to know something about binary comparison of files and
how it is realised in C++. Are there other types of comparison of files
other than binary?.

Cheers

Do you mean bcmp(). Any other method will be implemented this way (bcmp() or memcmp()).

If you know the file structure, you may compare it in different ways, for instance exclude comments. That's very context-specific, however.
