automake error: no rule to make target all

Well to start off with my error,

make all-recursive
make[1]: Entering directory `/osr/users/jwstric2/development/scav-freeloader'
Making all in src
make[2]: Entering directory `/osr/users/jwstric2/development/scav-freeloader/src'
make[2]: No rule to make target all
make[2]: Leaving directory `/osr/users/jwstric2/development/scav-freeloader/src'
make[1]: Leaving directory `/osr/users/jwstric2/development/scav-freeloader'

Makefile.am in top dir contains

SUBDIRS = src

Under src I have another Makefile.am which contains

SUBDIRS = scavenger manager

The reason I set it up like this is I have two seperate applications built from src. Why is it looking for a target all in src directory?

Thanks
Jonathan

Change your Makefile.am to the path where the Makefile.am recides. This should solve your issue
